Wale Bob-Oseni Stopped by at Ikoyi Building Site but Ended Up Under the Rubble

The Ikoyi building collapse is truly a sad event that took place on November 1, 2021, at Ikoyi, Lagos State.

It was reported that over 50 people were trapped in the tragedy including one Mr Wale Bob-Oseni who is a real estate developer, corporate affairs manager of the First Premiere Mortgage and executive director of the African Bureau for Legislative Empowerment. He had a master’s in international relations and diplomacy from the Howard university in the US. He is also an IT Support Technician at SPrint PCS, Herndon, VA from May 2000 - September, 2004 showing he was a man with vast knowledge in diverse fields. Mr Wale Bob-Oseni received a call from Femi Osibona to check the ongoing construction in Gerard Road Ikoyi on Moday November 1, 2021 which is the day he was returning back to the United States of America.

He stopped by quickly to take a look at the 21-storey building, but didn't know that would be the last time he'll breathe. The building collapsed on both of them alongside over 50 persons trapped inside.

Mr Adewale Bob-Oseni along with his friend and associate, Mr Femi Osibona was confirmed dead after 48 hours of rescued efforts.
